About the Role

The Operations Resolution Coordinator is responsible for performing process audits, investigating, tracking, and assisting in resolving quality issues and concerns within the warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform process audits and highlight exceptions and opportunities.
  • Document process steps, identify discrepancies, and research variations.
  • Assist in establishing standard practices and maintain process audit records.
  • Monitor corrective action effectiveness and develop/update quality auditing procedures.
  • Escalate risks and conflicts as needed.
  • Perform stock verifications and quality checks.
  • Conduct root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate quality checks, sortation, and product/location audits.
  • Monitor, document, and research quality control complaints.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements.
  • Collaborate with associates, team leaders, and supervisors during investigations.
  • Gather and summarize data from information systems and records.
  • Provide backup for quality auditors.
  • Deliver timely feedback to supervisors and leadership.
  • Lead investigations.
  • Provide on-the-floor training and refreshers on quality standards and processes.
  • Participate in process improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with business partners and teams.
  • Support 5S initiatives.
  • Perform marginal tasks.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Quality.
  • Experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office & Outlook.
  • Demonstrated solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Strong listening and interpretation skills.
  • Knowledge of Management Warehouse Systems (PkMS preferred) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under strong demands and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage time by changing priorities.
  • Must be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions, and English/Metric conversions.
  • Must be able to read production report data and verify/audit data.
  • Must be able to identify a problem and implement a quick solution.
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret data in report form and make decisions.
  • Must have a general understanding of the entire replenishment operation.
  • No direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, hear, grasp, operate objects and controls, reach with hands and arms, use computer, use close and distant vision and adjust focus.
  • Regularly required to stand, bend, work on a computer, crouch, and lift weights up to 35 lbs., push up to 100 lbs. on a cart.
  • Occasionally required to sit.
  • Must be comfortable working on the warehouse floor and moving between departments.
  • Frequently required to work near moving equipment.
  • Frequently works in noise of moderate volume.
  • Occasionally smells diesel fumes from dock trucks and propane from forklifts.
  • Occasionally works in varying degrees of temperature.
