About the Role
NBT Operations Associates are integral to providing excellent customer service by performing moderately complex operations duties. This role supports both monetary and non-monetary transactions, requiring reconciliation, and directly impacts customer accounts, bank reporting, and real-time information.
Responsibilities
- Process a variety of monetary/non-monetary tasks and/or transactions, including account maintenance, verification, reconciliations, complex account transactions, and resolution of exception items.
- Provide support to internal and/or external customers.
- Cross-train on other team duties and provide coverage as required.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with, all applicable laws and regulations.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and internal controls, with an ongoing focus on risk and fraud mitigation.
- Uphold service level standards under normal conditions.
- Assist with new employee training and onboarding.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Professional and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Skills
- Ability to follow procedures and interrogate data.
- Basic organizational skills.
- Good communication skills (written and oral).
- Accounting and computer skills preferred.
