Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patient and family needs.
- Identify outcomes based on needs assessment and establish the plan of care.
- Supervise patient progress and modify the plan of care as needed.
- Maintain education and competencies to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Incorporate evidence-based nursing practice, considering current statutes, rules, and regulations.
- Establish realistic and measurable patient outcomes in collaboration with the family and patient.
- Identify age-appropriate, culturally appropriate, realistic, and attainable outcomes.
- Coordinate, collaborate, and delegate appropriately to ensure safe and effective care.
- Fulfill all organizational requirements.
- Demonstrate ability to coordinate, delegate, and direct unit operations as Charge Nurse.
- Collaborate effectively with unit staff, leadership, and other disciplines as Charge Nurse.
- Identify orientee's learning needs, plan learning experiences, and validate clinical competence as Preceptor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing required if working in state of MN upon hire / WI Department of Safety & Professional Services required if working in the state of WI upon hire.
- Must meet at least ONE of the following: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire).
- Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently.

Salary/Compensations
- Pay Range: $44.64 to $74.34 per hour
- Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
