About the Role

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Care Coordinator to join the team at our clinic in Canarsie, Brooklyn. Care Coordinators support patient care by ensuring patients feel welcomed and valued while managing appointment flow. They are expected to respond to all phone calls and emails within 2 hours and always within 24 hours. Care Coordinators will guide patients through the out-of-network experience and greet all patients with a smile, executing 5-star customer service. Spear fosters a collaborative community environment for patients and team members.

Responsibilities

Support patient care by making patients feel welcomed and valued.
Control the flow of appointments.
Respond to all phone calls and emails within 2 hours and always within 24 hours.
Guide patients through the out-of-network experience.
Greet all patients who enter the clinic with a smile.
Execute 5-star customer service.
Foster a true community environment for both patients and team members.
Maintain manual dexterity to manipulate office equipment and make written notations.
Use computer keyboard 90% of each workday.
Communicate over the telephone.
Read information on computer screen.
Sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time.
Occasionally lift 10 pounds floor to waist.

Requirements
