About the Role
This position supports the Head Baseball coach with coaching and administration of a Division III Baseball program at the US Coast Guard Academy.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head Baseball coach with coaching and administration of a Division III Baseball program.
- Comply with all college, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Provide practice instruction and in-game support/coaching, including player and skill development.
- Assist with analytical tracking and video assessment.
- Assist with recruiting athletically talented, academically qualified, and diverse student athletes.
- Assist with developing both in-season and off-season training programs.
- Assist with social media postings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Collegiate baseball experience
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Bachelors Degree
- Collegiate, High School or Baseball Club coaching experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting athletically talented, academically qualified and diverse student athletes to an academically rigorous institution (preferred)
- Residency Requirements: Non-U.S. nationals must have resided within the United States, or U.S. territories, for at least three of the last five years.
- Must be registered with the Selective Service System (males born after 12/31/59 and at least 18 years of age, unless exempt).
- Must satisfactorily complete a Federal Background check and all pre-employment requirements.
- Applicants may not be employed in the chain of command of their relatives.
