About the Role

Iterative Health is seeking a Director, Life Sciences to accelerate growth within its clinical trials business. This external-facing role will identify, develop, and expand partnerships with biopharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors, bringing innovative therapies to patients through clinical research. You will manage the full business development lifecycle and collaborate with internal teams to drive revenue growth and strengthen Iterative Health's position as a trusted partner.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary commercial representative to prospective and existing biopharma, biotech, and clinical research partners.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive sponsor engagement, revenue growth, and long-term partnerships.
  • Build, manage, and expand relationships with key decision-makers across clinical development, clinical operations, medical affairs, and strategic outsourcing functions.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and deal execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop tailored clinical trial solutions that align with sponsor needs and organizational capabilities.
  • Partner with clinical operations and delivery teams to ensure successful execution and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence, competitive insights, and sponsor feedback to inform commercial strategy and product development.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Iterative Health's value proposition, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Represent Iterative Health at industry conferences, scientific meetings, and business development events.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity forecasting and pipeline management within CRM systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, clinical research, life sciences, or related commercial roles.
  • Demonstrated success developing and closing partnerships with biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations.
  • Strong understanding of the clinical trial ecosystem, including sponsors, CROs, site networks, and research operations.
  • Established network of industry contacts and decision-makers within the biopharma sector.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage enterprise-level relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with evolving priorities.

Salary/Compensations

  • $180,000—$250,000 USD
