About the Role

Horizon Land Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service two adjacent mobile home communities. This role is crucial for maintaining the grounds and structures, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds, including trimming, mowing, and trash pickup.
• Perform landscaping duties.
• Handle plowing and salting during winter months.
• Repair water and sewer lines as needed.
• Conduct repair and maintenance of onsite structures, grounds, and equipment.
• Assist in evictions by securing and padlocking homes.
• Troubleshoot problem areas.
• Respond immediately to emergency calls.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to think outside the box and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to operate large machinery when necessary.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs or more.
• Ability to alternate frequently between walking, crawling, crouching, squatting, climbing, and sitting.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must have a will to succeed.
