About the Role
As a Court Reporting Production Tech, you’ll play a critical role in producing, organizing, and delivering legal work products. From transcripts to video depositions, you’ll help ensure everything is accurate, timely, and client-ready. Your work ensures that critical legal materials are accurate, organized, and delivered on time. You’ll be a key part of keeping operations efficient and supporting successful case outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Produce and Deliver Transcripts – Prepare, copy, and bind transcripts for client delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely turnaround.
- Support Quality Control Efforts – Assist in reviewing deposition transcripts and maintaining organized electronic document storage.
- Prepare and Edit Media – Edit and process video and audio files, including duplication, synchronization, and creation of trial clips.
- Monitor Remote Video Depositions – Oversee live video depositions to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
- Coordinate Videoconferencing – Assist with scheduling, preparing, and distributing videoconference links for clients and internal teams.
- Assist with Court Certifications – Support the preparation and filing of court certifications with appropriate clerks, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain Data and Reports – Update and manage spreadsheets and reports, keeping records accurate and up to date.
- Log Daily Activities – Accurately track and record daily work in internal systems.
- Handle Communications – Manage incoming and outgoing calls, providing professional support to clients and team members.
- Manage Shipping and Documentation – Coordinate the timely shipment and distribution of documents and materials.
