About the Role
Searcys is seeking a Sales and Events Executive to join their team at The National Gallery. This role involves preparing detailed catering quotes, planning events, and managing both reactive and proactive sales inquiries for a variety of occasions. You will contribute to creating exceptional experiences with exquisite detail, service excellence, and outstanding food.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with the gallery.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution.
- Prepare detailed and bespoke catering quotes and plan events.
- Proactively generate and convert event sales leads, meeting revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and private clients.
- Conduct venue show rounds, presentations, and sales pitches.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Represent the venue and Searcys at networking events and trade shows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event sales within a high-end venue, hotel, or catering company.
- A strong sales mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional events and client experiences.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of London’s events and hospitality market is an advantage.
