About the Role
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Fuel Dock Attendants. The fuel dock is a fast-paced environment that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a positive attitude when working with customers.
Responsibilities
- Safely assist customers at the fuel dock
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Process transactions including credit cards, cash, and customer charge accounts
- Accurately record fuel and sales transactions both on paper logs and in the POS system
- Maintain accuracy while working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Assist customers with docking and departing from the dock when needed
- Help maintain a clean and organized fuel dock and surrounding work area
- Assist with cleaning boats, light yard work, and other marina tasks as needed
- Monitor dock activity and ensure safe operations around fuel equipment
- Communicate with coworkers and supervisors to keep operations running smoothly
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling sales and transactions
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a busy environment with multiple customers at once
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to help with a variety of tasks around the marina
- Ability to work both weekdays, weekends, and summer holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical work
