About the Role

Audible is Wavemaker Worldwide’s largest client and one of the world’s favourite platforms for audio content. This role will help Audible achieve ambitious growth targets through branding and performance campaigns across France, Italy, Germany, and Spain. The position offers an opportunity to work across markets and understand diverse consumer behaviors and media responses.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day paid social planning, activation, and output of client accounts.
  • Manage paid social brand and performance campaigns, including web sign-ups and monthly app installs.
  • Oversee a hybrid team responsible for the end-to-end setup of paid social campaigns across all relevant social platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and train junior team members on advanced features and tools.
  • Maintain the standard of quality assurance checks for campaign setup.
  • Ensure the standard and accuracy of weekly/monthly campaign performance reports and deliver valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Lead client calls and support the wider team in presenting results.
  • Ensure the standard of end-of-campaign reporting and quarterly/annual reviews.
  • Lead standalone research projects as required by the client.
  • Deliver on the over-arching paid social strategy and ensure alignment with wider digital and comms strategy.
  • Become a thought leader on Paid social for Audible in Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
  • Act as a key social point-of-contact for clients, ensuring confidence in the team and agency’s social output.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of media and technology developments influencing the client’s business.
  • Identify opportunities to test and innovate in the paid social space, presenting them to stakeholders and securing client backing.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure multiple projects are delivered simultaneously.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media partners including Meta, X, Snap, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Ensure effective management of local and Global Hub employees, monitoring workloads and prioritizing tasks.
  • Establish and foster relationships with Wavemaker offices across the US, EU, and APAC.
  • Help train and develop entry-level team members, leading by example.
  • Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead presentations where necessary.
  • Attend and lead regular internal meetings and training sessions.
  • Lead the recruitment process for the immediate team and assist with wider team recruitment.
  • Identify opportunities to test and innovate in the paid social space, developing initiatives to evolve buying standards and efficiency.
  • Develop tailored testing/learning agendas for clients that drive clear and actionable insight on each social platform.
  • Collaborate with the planning team and other channel specialists to ensure paid social activity complements the wider marketing mix.
  • Collaborate on thought-leadership pieces and POVs for the agency and GMS social community.
  • Manage agency finance processes accurately and effectively, ensuring the team fulfills mandatory finance processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in performance media with a good level of expertise across paid social.
  • Strong understanding of how paid social works within the performance and digital ecosystem.
  • Working knowledge of best practices within social.
  • Understand of mobile app download campaigns within social platforms.
  • Experience in performance social campaigns.
  • Experience setting Social brand and performance KPIs for clients.
  • Working knowledge of key tracking solutions.
  • Proven people management and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to manage upwards as well as downwards.
  • Possesses initiative and demonstrates resourcefulness.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience in planning, buying and optimising across all channels is useful.
  • Requires individuals to have the right to work in the UK.
