About the Role
Alliance Precision Plastics is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage recruitment, conduct orientations, and provide employee support. This role is crucial for maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring HR compliance.
Responsibilities
- Recruit employees, primarily for Rochester, with potential support for Spindale, NC.
- Utilize electronic recruitment tools, including social media.
- Conduct employment interviews, tours, and schedule pre-hire screenings.
- Maintain employee files, records, and statistics in compliance with laws and policies.
- Assist supervisors with time record editing and address employee inquiries regarding Paylocity.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
- Support the HR team as needed.
- Assist with employee benefit, training, and personnel development programs.
- Monitor and support the application of company policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Participate in meetings and seminars to maintain skills and knowledge.
- Assist with the administration of recreational activities and morale-building programs.
- Coordinate with HR Director and HR Business Partner on employee relations matters.
- Work outside normal hours for job fairs or company events when required.
- Support and follow all company policies and expectations.
- Multi-task and work successfully in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to safety.
- Compile and issue periodic and special reports.
- Provide assistance and liaison for community relations projects.
- Keep HR and Managers informed of significant situations and trends.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
