About the Role
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our friendly team at Haven Residential Care Home in London. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming and comfortable home environment for our residents, ensuring their living spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality housekeeping service that helps residents feel comfortable in their home
- Keep bedrooms, communal areas and facilities clean, safe and welcoming
- Work closely with colleagues to support residents’ daily wellbeing
- Use care and attention to detail to make a positive difference to residents’ lives
- Contribute to a supportive, friendly team environment
Requirements
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Will require safeguarding and pre-employment checks, including criminal records and overseas police checks if needed
Skills
- A caring, enthusiastic and kind approach with a genuine interest in older people
- Good teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues
- Clear communication skills and a flexible approach to your work
