About the Role

As part of our Public Health team, you will support clients across the healthcare sector, from providers and health insurance companies to other service providers. You will guide projects from strategy to implementation, actively shaping the transformation of the industry. You will work on exciting projects involving digital transformation, agile organizational structures, AI-driven processes, innovative care models, and business and health economics issues. You will utilize the latest project management methods and leading software tools, leveraging your experience to enhance PwC's leading role in healthcare. You will take on responsibility from day one, interacting directly with clients, supported by an experienced and interdisciplinary team. You will quickly grow with challenging and varied tasks, opening up excellent career opportunities. Depending on your interests and experience, you can contribute to hospital transformation, statutory health insurance transformation, or healthcare digitalization & AI. You will address strategic, organizational, and technological challenges across the entire healthcare value chain while gaining cross-functional project experience. You will join a Germany-wide networked Public Health team with extensive expertise in the healthcare sector, benefiting from diverse development opportunities and a strong professional network through regular knowledge exchange, joint strategy formats, and close collaboration with experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients across the healthcare sector, from providers and health insurance companies to other service providers.
  • Guide projects from strategy to implementation, actively shaping the transformation of the industry.
  • Work on projects involving digital transformation, agile organizational structures, AI-driven processes, innovative care models, and business and health economics issues.
  • Utilize the latest project management methods and leading software tools.
  • Take on responsibility from day one, interacting directly with clients.
  • Address strategic, organizational, and technological challenges across the entire healthcare value chain.
  • Gain cross-functional project experience.
  • Contribute to hospital transformation, statutory health insurance transformation, or healthcare digitalization & AI.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in economics, business informatics, health economics, health care management, medicine (informatics), data science, or a comparable field with above-average results.
  • Ideally, possess initial experience in healthcare or consulting.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to take on responsibility in project contexts.
  • Show enthusiasm for actively shaping the transformation of the Public Health sector.
  • Exhibit openness to new topics, curiosity, and team spirit.
  • Possess very good German and English language skills.
  • Demonstrate the flexibility and willingness to travel required for the consulting environment.
