About the Role

As part of NBT’s Internship Program, currently enrolled college students have the opportunity to explore various departments within NBT Bank, including Accounting and Finance, IT, Human Resources, Marketing, and others. Interns will gain practical experience, work on meaningful projects, and learn from experienced professionals in a variety of fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary project-based support for data warehousing and reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Support data quality, governance, and reporting initiatives.
• Create dashboards and analytical reports.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to achieve project objectives.
• Assisting with daily tasks.
• Project support – collaborating on team projects, assisting with ongoing projects by providing research, creating reports, and/or supporting team members.
• Contributing ideas during brainstorming sessions or team meetings.
• Preparing presentations by creating slides, reports, or any materials for internal presentations.
• Learning and Development – shadowing professionals through observation of full-time employees to understand work process.
• Attend training sessions and participate in workshops and learning new tools and systems.
• Special Assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a related field.
• Experience with data engineering, warehousing, BI, or analytics.
• Experience with cloud data platforms preferred.
• Ability to independently manage project deliverables.
