About the Role

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking team members to join their purpose-driven and opportunity-filled environment. This role is crucial for processing member purchases, ensuring accurate transactions, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases including liquor, lottery, and tobacco sales.
• Scan merchandise accurately using a point-of-sale system.
• Accept various forms of payment (cash, check, charge).
• Adhere to state age requirements for liquor, lottery, and tobacco sales.
• Follow asset protection guidelines.
• Merchandise and stock product displays and locations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the liquor store and register area.
• Conduct daily inventory counts.
• Place asset protection devices on high shrink merchandise.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments.
• Deliver service excellence through all points of contact.
• Resolve and deescalate member concerns.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team members.
• Greet, Anticipate, and Appreciate members (GAA).
• Maintain a friendly and positive attitude.
• Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting.
• Work with commitment and pride to deliver GOLD club standards daily.
• Ensure all items are stocked and promotional plans are executed.
• Maintain visible and accurate signage.
• Keep the store clean and organized, inside and out.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of all required training and/or certifications.

Skills
