About the Role
This senior leadership role is focused on driving the strategic, operational, and financial success of the Wealth Platform business. The individual will be responsible for executing board and executive committee priorities, managing key business initiatives, supporting growth through client onboarding and vendor management, and ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, and risk oversight.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to business strategy and planning for Wealth Platform.
- Oversee execution of Board strategies and drive as core ExCo member.
- Manage the business prioritisation approach to deliver on strategic initiatives, including risk assessments and change projects.
- Prepare senior management presentations for town halls, conferences, and board meetings.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate commercial targets into actionable, scalable deliverables.
- Identify cost saving opportunities, manage operational losses to drive top and bottom line growth.
- Manage asset onboarding initiatives for both existing and new clients to drive business growth.
- Vendor management, including commercial negotiations to achieve favourable terms and achieve seamless service delivery.
- Oversee governance processes, regulatory compliance, and internal controls in line with Board and Ex Co policy.
- Manage audits, regulatory reviews, and remediation plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of policy and procedure documentation.
- Collaborate with Finance on management reporting, dashboards, and operational risk analysis.
- Support quarterly and ad-hoc reporting for senior leadership.
- Build strong relationships with Operations, Risk, Finance, Technology, Legal, and Compliance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring alignment on strategic initiatives.
- Manage team to a high level of performance, hiring, and development.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience in wealth management, platform businesses, or financial services, with a strong track record of translating board and executive priorities into operational delivery and measurable business outcomes.
- Proven expertise in strategic planning and execution, including leading complex transformation, change, and business prioritisation initiatives across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
- Strong commercial and financial management capability, including budgeting, cost optimisation, operational loss reduction, performance monitoring, and supporting revenue and client growth initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with client and asset onboarding programmes, ensuring scalable implementation, operational readiness, and effective coordination across Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams.
- Demonstrated vendor and third-party management experience, including commercial negotiations, contract oversight, service-level management, and delivery governance in a regulated financial environment.
- Deep understanding of governance, regulatory compliance, operational risk, and internal controls, with experience managing audits, regulatory reviews, remediation activities, and policy/procedure frameworks.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience preparing board papers, ExCo presentations, management reporting, dashboards, and other senior leadership materials.
- Strong people leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, including building high-performing teams, developing talent, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving continuous process improvement across Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Technology.
