About the Role

The Corporate & Investment Bank F&BM Program Management team oversees and delivers multiple projects within the Corporate Investment Bank impacting Finance & Business Management. This role supports the BCBS 239 program, focusing on end-to-end project management and governance for regulatory initiatives related to risk data aggregation and reporting. As an Associate, you will drive execution, track milestones, and enable governance across a complex, cross-functional landscape, partnering with various teams and senior stakeholders on a firmwide priority program.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end delivery of BCBS 239 program milestones, including planning, tracking, and status reporting.
  • Maintain and enhance program artefacts (e.g. Multi-Year Plan (MYP), RAID logs, Governance packs).
  • Lead and execute the Multi-Year Plan (MYP) refresh, validate deliverables, and consolidate materials for regulatory submission.
  • Partner with stakeholders, providing guidance and analysis, helping identify and escalate issues, risks and dependencies and facilitating communication across teams.
  • Track progress against key deliverables, identifying risks and ensuring appropriate escalation.
  • Put in place the necessary Minimum Control Point (MCP) project artifacts; Statement of Work, Roles & responsibilities, Governance, Communications Plan for a controlled program delivery.
  • Coordinate Working Group and Program Control Committee Meetings including agenda setting, preparation of materials, minute capture, and allocation of clear action ownership where required.
  • Support preparation of senior governance materials (e.g., Steer Co, Executive forums, Regulatory submissions etc.).
  • Maintain an appropriate governance structure, build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders in the different businesses our team can support (e.g., Markets, Private Bank, Asset Management) and functions (e.g., Finance, Operations, Risk, CDAO, Legal etc.).
  • Facilitate structured follow-ups and action tracking from governance forums.
  • Contribute to embedding validation, control, and data quality considerations into program delivery.

Requirements

  • Project management experience, or similar.
  • Experience in program delivery, PMO, or governance within Financial Services.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Ability to articulate complex issues concisely and communicate effectively and comfortably.
  • Strong analytical, data management and critical thinking skills.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, regulatory, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive mindset with ability to identify gaps and drive follow-up actions.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a focus on delivery and follow-through.
  • Team player with the ability to coordinate and build relationships across multiple stakeholders.
