About the Role
A career opportunity has arisen within Liverpool City Council for an experienced and energetic Field Inspector. As a key member of the Maintenance Planning and Reporting Team, you will be the first point of contact for all customer enquiries relating to road openings and vehicular crossings.
Responsibilities
- Provide first call response, identify issues, and make sound judgments to determine the appropriate resolution.
- Ensure site safety at all times.
- Inspect and approve driveway constructions.
- Assess and issue road opening permits.
- Manage restoration works.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Meet the daily demands of the position.
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Construction/Maintenance field and/or equivalent extensive field experience.
- Construction Induction accreditation.
- Current Class C Driver's Licence.
- Knowledge and application of Work Health and Safety practices.
- Knowledge and application of the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity.
- Knowledge and application of ethical practice.
- Knowledge and application of multi-cultural diversity.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must obtain a National Police Check.
- May be required to undergo a pre-employment medical check.
