Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and support for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and student support.
  • Assess student work and progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Provide constructive feedback and feedforward to students.
  • Identify the need for developing module content, structure, and assessments.
  • Make proposals for curricular development.
  • Contribute to the effective design and review of inclusive learning.
  • Maintain quality standards and regulations in curricular design.
  • Act as a module lecturer and academic coach.
  • Sign-post students on pastoral aspects during their learning journey.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in Business Law, Debt Finance, Equity & Capital Markets, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Immigration Law, Employment, Intellectual Property, Mergers and Acquisitions, Personal Injury, or Private Wealth.
  • Ability to design and deliver high-quality teaching programmes.
  • Ability to provide impactful student support.
  • Must be able to prove the right to work in the UK.
  • Not a licensed sponsor.

Salary/Compensations

  • £40,500–£42,500 for Lecturers
  • £49,000–£54,000 for Senior Lecturers
  • £4,300 London weighting allowance for London-based roles
