About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Product Copywriter to join our Ecommerce team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional product copy for every item on the Urban Outfitters EU websites.
Responsibilities
- Write exemplary product copy for Women’s, Men’s, and Home divisions.
- Own the product copy process, collaborating with production and digital teams for timely delivery.
- Ensure product descriptions are accurate, detailed, and informative by fact-checking with relevant teams.
- Log, track, and write product information to meet daily deadlines.
- Research keywords, understanding relevant search terms and technical fashion terminology.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure product descriptions are grammatically perfect, factually correct, SEO optimized, and align with brand TOV.
- Collaborate with digital teams to identify and flag onsite inconsistencies or errors.
- Update and create informative, on-brand, and engaging Brand Bios for on-site pages.
- Support blog post creative copy writing and proofreading of AI-produced content and T&Cs.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous fashion or copywriting experience preferred.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Highly organized individual capable of prioritizing and delivering copy to deadline.
- Computer literate with proficiency in best practice SEO and CMS usage.
- Product enthusiast with a passion for brands, designers, and fashion.
- Strong communicator with a can-do attitude, able to find answers quickly to ensure accuracy of EU product descriptions.
