About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Applications & Process Lead to own the business and process layer across our technology portfolio. This is a pivotal role in a period of significant transformation, central to evaluating, implementing, and governing systems during an ERP selection process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic rationalization of the custom application portfolio throughout the ERP transformation, overseeing migration, integration, or sunsetting of legacy systems.
  • Lead quality and requirements standards across the broader portfolio, managing UAT planning to automation triage and release readiness.
  • Utilize rigorous business analysis to drive the strategic alignment of the application ecosystem, ensuring the technology portfolio and ERP initiatives effectively support and evolve with business processes.
  • Build and maintain the inventory of custom applications and the business processes they serve; run fit-gap analysis against ERP capabilities; recommend absorb, modify, or retire per application in collaboration with the Solutions Architect.
  • Document current-state business processes ahead of vendor engagement; validate that captured requirements reflect actual business needs; own requirements traceability so scope creep is visible.
  • Represent operational business processes in ERP program governance, collaborating with the lead managing financial and accounting modules.
  • Support data migration validation: data mapping review, reconciliation sign-off with business owners.
  • Plan and coordinate UAT: test scenarios with business users, defect tracking, readiness assessment.
  • Own quality strategy and acceptance verification across the portfolio: test strategy per initiative, acceptance test design, release readiness sign-off.
  • Perform requirements elicitation, user stories with acceptance criteria, process mapping, and push back when the request does not match the problem.
  • Triage and qualify departmental automation requests before they reach developers.
  • Act as the business liaison for prototyping requests and automation initiatives.
  • Represent practitioner teams on automation and prototyping requests translating needs into defined requirements.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Requirements elicitation and documentation: user stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping using BPMN or equivalent.
