About the Role

The PMO Lead role provides information and quality analysis services to key cyber projects within the Cyber programme remit. This role acts as a key player in driving project governance and data quality across projects.

Responsibilities

  • Drive governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of programme deliverables
  • Monitor the progress of tasks against timelines and budgets, advising Project and Programme Managers where activities are behind schedule or over budget
  • Assist Project Managers to create and maintain the delivery schedule, milestones and tasks in the relevant scheduling tool(s)
  • Support the identification and management of dependencies, delivery risks and issues
  • Track status through the maintenance of risks and issues logs
  • Collate, consolidate and analyse project information to produce reports, status updates and commentary
  • Complete quality assurance of project plans and logs to ensure information is complete, up to date and in line with standard
  • Perform financial management and variance analysis for projects
  • Support the monitoring of a change roadmap for the portfolio
  • Assist with the implementation of change management processes, policies and best practice
  • Act as a lead within the team providing direction and guidance to other PMO members

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience working with teams in multiple locations globally simultaneously
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects involving different Project Managers, Stakeholders and governance structures
  • Minimum 5 years experience in project management
  • Experience in a similar project analysis or support role is a must
  • Experience in large financial services organisations and the area of Cyber Security would be beneficial
  • Strong information management, collation and reporting skills
  • Proficiency with reporting tools such as Clarity PPM or other similar PPM tools
