About the Role
Citi is seeking a Product Manager, Core Accounts to own a critical suite of transaction banking products. This role involves setting product direction, leading cross-functional delivery, and shaping the product lifecycle to influence client outcomes and product competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product strategy for Core Accounts, setting direction across the full product lifecycle.
- Author and prioritize product requirements and user stories, applying clear sequencing and timing.
- Lead participation in planning sessions and backlog reviews to ensure product initiatives are scoped within budget and structured to deliver measurable returns.
- Champion an agile mindset across product and technology teams, embedding iterative ways of working.
- Partner with sales and client management teams to identify and size new client opportunities, representing the voice of the customer.
- Manage product risk and controls across documentation, legal, and regulatory dimensions.
- Build alignment across the organization by communicating the value proposition of Core Accounts products clearly.
- Prepare and present materials for product approval processes, ensuring products are delivered in line with established global parameters.
Requirements
- Significant experience in product management, transaction banking, or a related financial services discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to develop product requirements, author user stories, and translate business needs into actionable delivery plans.
- Analytical capability applied to product performance, client insights, and commercial opportunity assessment.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
- Sound judgement in assessing risk, with a track record of identifying issues and driving resolution.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.
