About the Role

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the day shift, performing planned preventative maintenance and reactive works on building systems within the contracted area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists.
  • Ensure reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
  • Ensure plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
  • Ensure suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
  • Provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.

Requirements

  • Formally trained in City and Guilds Electrical Installations or the equivalent NVQ and Building Services maintenance.

Skills

  • Experience of maintaining tight humidity & temperature control conditioned environments.
  • General all-round knowledge of Heating & Ventilation / Air Conditioning and building support systems and their methods of control.
  • Experience on CAFM system.
  • Experience of maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria.
