About the Role
Soho Home is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual with a passion for homeware and interiors to join their retail team. This full-time role involves providing professional customer service and maintaining outstanding product knowledge within the Soho Home Kings Road studio.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to create a positive customer experience and generate loyalty.
- Greet and assist customers while they browse or purchase products.
- Offer additional information about products and services available in-store and online.
- Offer alternative products when an item is unavailable.
- Handle customer queries professionally or escalate to the manager.
- Demonstrate outstanding knowledge of products and service quality.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of Soho Home retail products and services.
- Maximize retail space potential to drive sales.
- Utilize business knowledge to increase sales.
- Ensure shop displays are fully stocked and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Identify best and slow-selling items to improve overall sales.
- Provide feedback to the AM & Retail Manager on sales performance.
- Meet daily sales targets as part of the retail team.
- Source products from the back of house as needed.
- Work towards daily/weekly team sales targets and report to management.
- Successfully complete end-of-day cash-up procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar retail role.
- Ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Honest, open, and constructive communication skills.
- Creative flair with confidence discussing colors, styles, and interior trends.
- Flexibility and innovation in adapting to the changing retail environment.
- Strong team player.
- Experience in furniture and lighting is advantageous.
