About the Role
In this versatile position, you will be the primary point of contact for employees regarding IT questions and technical challenges. You will ensure the smooth operation of our IT workplaces, support our Microsoft 365 environment, and ensure that disruptions are resolved quickly and sustainably.
Responsibilities
- Incident Management & Support: Responsible for processing and resolving issues in 1st and 2nd level support via ticketing system, phone, and remote support.
- Troubleshooting: Systematically analyze and sustainably resolve technical problems in hardware, software, network, and peripheral devices.
- Workplace Management: Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of PCs, notebooks, mobile devices, and other IT workplace equipment.
- Microsoft Environment: Administer and support Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 services, especially Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
- User and Permissions Management: Manage user accounts, group policies, and access rights in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Application Management: Support the maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of business and standard applications, as well as support for software rollouts.
- Documentation: Maintain tickets, technical documentation, and knowledge bases for sustainable knowledge retention.
- IT Projects: Participate in infrastructure, system, and software projects, as well as migrations and the introduction of new technologies.
- Operation & Monitoring: Assist with the operation and monitoring of our local IT infrastructure and perform basic network and system checks.
Requirements
- Successfully completed training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or a comparable qualification.
- First to several years of professional experience in IT support, incident management, or system administration.
- Sound knowledge of Windows client systems and Microsoft 365.
- Experience in the administration and troubleshooting of applications, operating systems, and workplace environments.
- Basic understanding of network technologies such as LAN, WLAN, VPN, and directory services such as Active Directory.
- Ideally, knowledge of Linux or macOS devices.
- Experience with common ticketing systems and structured support processes.
- High service and solution orientation, and enjoyment of direct interaction with users.
- Independent, structured, and responsible way of working.
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
