About the Role
Accelerate Credit and Capital Management processes to improve customer outcomes and enable growth, establishing a world-class end-to-end credit management function, uplifting customer experience, and delivering modern risk management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Achieve CCM OKRs for the respective market.
- Lead the execution and implementation of the BCO function to efficiently manage the underwriting process across country CIB.
- Manage the portfolio and risk exposure in partnership with banking teams and WCRM to determine and monitor risk appetite.
- Drive policy and procedure simplification and optimization for the underwriting process.
- Continuously focus on improving function productivity while enhancing client experience.
- Provide oversight to outsourced credit and capital management services.
- Implement the Target CCM Services Operating Model and deliver associated financial targets.
- Lead risk and control management across the end-to-end process.
- Manage CCM COO FRP, budgeting, and planning processes for the market.
- Land the transformation and digitization of the CCM COO journey locally and lead local initiatives to improve and re-engineer processes.
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify key areas for improvement.
- Represent CCM Services in front of market stakeholders and at market forums.
- Unify and provide direction to dislocated teams, fostering unity and purpose.
- Develop and maintain a diverse, innovation-driven credit and lending workforce.
- Oversee and execute the delivery of CCM services in-country, ensuring alignment with regional processes.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to implement the overall strategy for the wholesale credit and lending journey.
- Implement governance frameworks to ensure risks and issues are escalated and resolved.
- Act as the local Business Service Owner for Credit & Lending across CIB, ensuring service resilience.
- Support the OKR, KPI, and SLA management framework within the market.
- Collaborate with product, design, innovation, and technology teams to execute the CCM technology strategy.
- Manage multiple senior stakeholders with varied agendas, driving alignment.
- Maintain a diverse, innovation-driven credit and lending workforce, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Extensive years of experience in wholesale credit and lending, with a strong background in coverage, credit management, or operations.
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams, with experience in organizational design and strategic planning.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive alignment among senior leaders.
- Expertise in credit risk management, control assessment, and SOX compliance.
- Experience in driving digitization and customer experience improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
