About the Role

The Associate Director is responsible for the day-to-day running and reporting on assigned properties or clients, including service delivery, occupier liaison, service charge management, and compliance oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Read, review, and understand leases and documents, ensuring occupier compliance with obligations and expectations.
  • Manage a team aligned with MAPP Values.
  • Engage with occupiers to improve satisfaction and retention through customer experience frameworks, forums, and placemaking initiatives.
  • Be actively involved in new business pitches, tenders, or presentations.
  • Manage all allocated sites, including regular inspections, monitoring, reporting, and auditing for condition, standards, and occupier compliance.
  • Provide Property Management leadership, supporting asset management strategies, funding positions, and client objectives.
  • Monitor statutory and internal compliance, instructing audits and assessments, and aligning with service partners.
  • Support the preparation and analysis of service charge budgets, monitoring expenditure, and addressing outstanding positions.
  • Provide support and due diligence for client building and site purchases.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate ability to line manage property managers.
  • Be confident speaking to Clients and occupiers.
  • Set high standards and seek to enhance service and delivery.
  • Contribute and lead team projects and new business opportunities.
