About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned, highly technical product marketer to lead AlphaSense’s most technical product areas, including API, cloud hosting, and security launches. This role involves defining positioning and messaging, driving go-to-market strategies, and ensuring our technical value proposition remains a competitive advantage and maintains technical credibility. You will enable teams to deepen customer engagement with executives and technical buyers, partner with Product, Sales, Enablement, and Marketing to influence roadmaps, launch new features, and create product narratives that accelerate pipeline and adoption.
Responsibilities
- Define clear, compelling positioning and messaging for AlphaSense’s API, cloud, and security-related features by leveraging deep market, product, and customer insights.
- Partner with Solution Marketing to build targeted programs that highlight the security and extensibility of the platform, driving customer confidence during high-stakes renewals and enterprise-wide expansions.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure launches include the necessary technical content (e.g. technical FAQs, architecture diagrams, and security white papers) required for market readiness.
- Be an expert on product adoption and ROI, providing actionable insights to Product Management to refine roadmap and solution evolution.
- Collaborate with Customer Lifecycle, Sales, and Customer Success to optimize customer journeys that drive effective customer engagement and retention.
- Partner with Enablement to create and equip Sales and Customer Success teams with differentiated product narratives, custom demos, and competitive battlecards that articulate AlphaSense’s unique value.
- Conduct market and buyer research to uncover trends, opportunities, and competitive intelligence used to inform product strategy and Solution Marketing efforts.
- Partner with Content teams to create executive-level thought leadership and solution-focused content, including case studies and long-form assets, that elevate AlphaSense’s market position.
- Translate complex product features into compelling benefits tailored to segment-specific use cases, connecting product-specific workflows to measurable customer outcomes.
- Partner with Customer Lifecycle, Enablement, and Solution Marketing teams to build targeted programs and enablement assets to support upsell, cross-sell, and retention, driving customer expansion across priority segments.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, with a proven track record of building positioning, messaging, and launch strategies for complex enterprise software or AI solutions.
- A "technical translator" who is comfortable working with APIs, security frameworks (SOC2, encryption), and deployment options (single tenant, isolated cloud), with the ability to turn deep technical details into credible narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Data-driven and analytically minded, leveraging product adoption data, competitive intelligence, and technical ROI metrics to identify market opportunities and inform the product roadmap.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with experience delivering technical demos and presentations to highly technical executives, including CIOs, CTOs, and IT decision-makers.
- Strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments, combining operational rigor with the creativity needed to differentiate a highly technical platform in a competitive AI market.
