About the Role

Meta is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to join the Agent Data & Optimization (ADO) team, which is central to Meta's AI investments. This team generates training data and evaluations to improve Meta's frontier AI models, leveraging expertise to engineer solutions, data, and RL environments crucial for AI progress. The role offers the opportunity to work directly on frontier AI models within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, influencing technical decisions and organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

Build, manage, and support diverse teams of software engineers and engineering managers
Provide both technical and organizational leadership
Form cross-functional and cross-discipline partnerships to drive engineering efforts
Establish effective strategies and execute against them
Uphold a culture of respect, integrity, inclusion, and innovation

Requirements

Significant technical industry experience
Extensive management experience
Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, and leading technical organizations, including performance management
