The Senior Admitting Worker (SAW) greets, identifies, and registers patients, coordinating escorts for services. This role involves gathering demographic and financial information, entering it into the computer system accurately, and handling cash collection. The SAW must provide superior customer service, maintain professionalism, and utilize hospital information systems effectively. They play a key role in the patient's healthcare experience, acting as an ambassador and promoting a harmonious work environment.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients

- Coordinating escort upon arrival for services and/or after triage by the nurse
- Gathering demographic and financial information
- Entering information into the computer system quickly and accurately
