About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Until Labs, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the software systems that form the backbone of this revolutionary technology. Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software applications critical to cryopreservation technology and organ preservation systems.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including biologists, engineers, and physicists to translate complex scientific requirements into scalable software solutions.
Implement and optimize real-time data acquisition and processing systems for monitoring organ preservation status.
Develop and maintain user interfaces and control systems that facilitate precise operation and monitoring of preservation hardware.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous integration to ensure high software quality and reliability.
Contribute to the development of data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from biological and engineering data.
Document software designs, processes, and protocols to support regulatory compliance and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in software development using languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with real-time systems, embedded software, or control systems is highly desirable.
Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration in highly technical environments.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Good communication skills and a passion for working on challenging problems with meaningful impact.
Experience with version control systems like Git and knowledge of software development lifecycle tools.
