About the Role
Assistant Residential Managers support and care for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. They assist the Residential Manager to ensure the program is running safely and effectively, which includes assisting individuals with daily routines, medication, and participating in community activities.
Responsibilities
- Support and care for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
- Assist the Residential Manager to ensure the program is running safely and effectively.
- Assist individuals with getting ready for the day or going to bed.
- Assist with cooking and cleaning.
- Provide medication assistance.
- Participate in social and recreational activities in the community.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to use independent judgment and discretion to ensure employee compliance with regulatory standards, agency policies and procedures, and plans of care.
