About the Role

Join our clinic and strengthen our team in Medical Product Procurement. We are seeking a Project Manager for Procurement, available immediately, permanent, full-time/part-time.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously analyze and optimize portfolios of medical supplies used from economic, contractual, and procedural perspectives, supporting the development of procurement strategies.
  • Manage (partial) projects for ongoing procurement and supply topics in medical supplies, coordinating closely with operations management, procurement, and relevant interfaces. Establish and maintain transparent project and measure management with priorities, milestones, status reports, and decision requirements.
  • Support the development of robust cost control for supplies and assist in analyzing and tracking savings potentials, price effects, commitment notifications, and other measures for cost control in collaboration with procurement, controlling, specialist departments, and external partners.
  • Oversee reviews and optimizations in the area of medical supplies, including consignment stocks, contract terms, item lists, industry invoices, OR sets, and other relevant portfolios, deriving appropriate measures.
  • Support the improvement of master data quality, material group assignment, item management, and data structures for evaluations, as well as the further development of processes within digitalization projects (e.g., ward request system and integrated material documentation).
  • Prepare decision proposals, evaluations, and management reports for operations management, executive management, and other committees, and support decision-making.
  • Coordinate internal and external service providers, project partners, and responsible specialists, and support handovers, onboarding, and implementation phases during the establishment of new structures or the execution of change processes.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in economics (e.g., Business Administration, Health Economics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management) or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in strategic procurement of medical supplies, ideally in a hospital or purchasing group.
  • Structured, analytical, and independent work style with strong implementation skills and organizational talent.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • SAP MM or comparable ERP knowledge is advantageous.
  • Confident and solution-oriented communication skills.
  • Process understanding and willingness to change.
