About the Role
Support people with disability to have the choice, control, and independence to live their best life. Based in Bondi Junction, you will support 2 women with daily living activities. Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team on a permanent part time basis, you will support people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.
Responsibilities
- Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
- Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
- Maintain thorough record keeping
- Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
- Advocate for client choice and control
Requirements
- Experience working with people with psychosocial disability or mental health concerns
- Previous experience working with behaviour support plans
- An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Must be able to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance
