About the Role
Join Tip Top Bakeries as a Food Production Cleaner in Ermington, playing a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and smoothly running bakery. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food safety within a fast-paced, supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise production floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces within the food manufacturing area.
- Perform deep cleaning on production equipment, including conveyors, mixers, and packaging lines.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in alignment with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Complete routine inspections to ensure compliance with workplace cleanliness standards.
- Support other departments in ensuring hygiene standards are upheld across the facility.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience cleaning in a food manufacturing site (FMCG).
- Chemical handling exposure/knowledge.
- Physically fit, with the ability to perform some heavy lifting.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work cohesively in a team and independently.
- Attention to detail.
