About the Role

The Disability Support Worker role at CPA provides high-quality, person-centered support to people with disabilities, empowering clients to live independently by helping them achieve goals and supporting their wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to clients in a domestic setting.
  • Supporting clients with daily living needs such as cooking and mealtimes.
  • Assisting with cleaning and general household tasks.
  • Providing personal care to clients in a respectful and dignified manner.
  • Administering medication.
  • Supporting clients to move around the house through manual handling and the use of specialised equipment.
  • Documenting and monitoring client wellbeing.
  • Collaborating effectively with other CPA staff to maintain a supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Commitment to person-centred care
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P2)
  • Ability to meet the inherent physical requirements of the role
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • First Aid & CPR
