About the Role
The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving system training across Talent International. This role leads onboarding, refresher training, knowledge documentation, monthly Tech Talks, and stakeholder engagement to maximize adoption of business applications and ensure users are confident and capable in their day-to-day use of technology.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to develop tailored onboarding schedules for new starters.
- Organise and coordinate training calendars, invitations, and learning resources.
- Facilitate onboarding training sessions covering business systems, processes, and best practice.
- Provide follow-up training materials and supporting documentation after each session.
- Conduct one-week follow-up check-ins with new starters to assess progress, answer questions, and identify additional support requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and training requests for reporting purposes.
- Plan and coordinate monthly Tech Talks to promote system knowledge and adoption across the business.
- Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify relevant training topics.
- Develop presentation materials, facilitator guides, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate training schedules, calendar invitations, and communications with Managing Directors and attendees.
- Facilitate Tech Talk sessions across all branches.
- Design and distribute post-session surveys, follow-up communications, and summary posts to reinforce learning and gather feedback.
- Review participant feedback and continuously improve future training sessions.
- Maintain and update user guides, Whatfix content, and other learning resources to ensure they remain accurate and relevant.
- Create documentation for new or previously undocumented business processes.
- Review and update existing documentation to reflect system enhancements and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve the accessibility, usability, and quality of learning resources.
- Partner with managers to identify employees requiring additional systems or process training.
- Plan, schedule, and facilitate refresher training sessions for individuals and teams.
- Develop and maintain engaging training materials, practical exercises, and supporting resources.
- Provide follow-up documentation and learning resources to reinforce key concepts.
- Record refresher training activities and outcomes to support reporting and continuous improvement.
- Draft and publish clear communications for planned system maintenance, incidents, and service disruptions.
- Coordinate updates across internal communication channels, including Zendesk, Bullhorn, and other business platforms.
- Ensure communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with organisational communication standards.
Requirements
- Experience delivering systems training, learning and development, or change enablement initiatives.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience creating and maintaining training materials, user guides, and knowledge documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with business systems such as Bullhorn, FastTrack, or similar enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with digital adoption platforms, Learning Management Systems, or eLearning tools.
- Experience supporting technology adoption or organisational change initiatives.
