About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Agent Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy mission-critical AI agents in customer environments to drive security outcomes. This cross-functional role involves direct customer interaction, platform adaptation, and continuous iteration on scalable solutions. You will own projects end-to-end, from implementation and data onboarding to production deployment and feedback integration, directly shaping AI agent capabilities in threat detection, incident triage, and security workflow automation for sophisticated organizations. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in high-impact environments, enjoy solving complex technical problems, and want to see tangible results.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy security-focused AI agents capable of reasoning over large datasets, interacting with security systems, and handling complex real-world workflows.
- Lead technical delivery for customers, managing data ingestion and transformation pipelines, configuration, workflow design, and feature extension.
- Experiment with, evaluate, and integrate cutting-edge text, voice, and multi-modal models into production environments.
- Collaborate with customer security teams to integrate agents with their tools, processes, and data sources.
- Identify cross-customer trends and translate field insights into platform improvements and new capabilities.
- Debug complex issues across multiple layers of the stack to ensure enterprise-grade reliability and performance standards for AI agents.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in high-velocity or customer-facing environments.
- Strong debugging and systems thinking abilities; comfortable tracing issues across multiple layers of a stack.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical contexts.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, take ownership end-to-end, and prioritize customer outcomes over output.
