About the Role

Join our Finance & Actuarial Systems team as an Actuarial Analyst or Senior Actuarial Analyst and play a key role in a significant business integration journey. Working within our Life & Investments division, you’ll help bring together actuarial systems, models, and processes while supporting smarter decision-making through high-quality analytics and insights. This is an opportunity to apply your actuarial expertise to meaningful transformation work, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, and contribute to outcomes that strengthen our capabilities for the future. Responsibilities

  • Support the integration of actuarial models and systems across business entities
  • Analyse complex data and provide insights that support business decisions
  • Contribute to the review and enhancement of actuarial processes and controls
  • Develop and maintain modelling and analytical solutions using appropriate tools and methodologies
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, and KPI requirement
  • Prepare clear documentation to support governance and system change activities

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies or a related discipline
  • Progress towards Institute of Actuaries of Australia qualifications or equivalent
  • Experience working with actuarial modelling systems such as Prophet Professional or Enterprise
  • Capability in analytics, modelling, and data interpretation using tools such as R or Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify business improvement opportunities
  • Experience communicating technical findings through reports, presentations, and stakeholder engagement
