About the Role
Deliver data-driven insights, analytics and reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making across the University. Partner with stakeholder portfolios to understand key performance indicators, business needs and reporting priorities.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex datasets into clear insights, reporting and recommendations that support University decision-making.
- Analyse complex datasets from multiple sources, applying advanced analytical techniques including segmentation and cohort analysis to identify trends, performance drivers and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business requirements into meaningful insights, visualisations and evidence-based recommendations that support planning and performance outcomes.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations that communicate insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Extract, transform and validate data from enterprise systems and platforms.
- Support data integrity and governance practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in reporting frameworks, data accessibility, automation and analytical capability.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification and/or equivalent professional administration experience and training in a large and complex organisation.
- High level analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to think laterally and exercise sound judgement.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, problem solving, reporting and translating business requirements into insights.
- Experience in data extraction, manipulation and reporting tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Alteryx.
- Strong understanding of data quality, integrity and governance practices, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Provide evidence of full-time working rights in Australia at application.
