About the Role
Lead the Support Services team at Mt Wilga Private Hospital, overseeing Food Services, Environmental Services, Maintenance, Stores, and Patient Transport to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality services that support exceptional patient care. Drive service efficiency, quality improvement, and resource utilization while meeting legislative and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of Food Services, Environmental Services (Housekeeping), Maintenance, Stores, and Patient Transport.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality services that support exceptional patient care.
- Provide oversight of service performance and compliance.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences through responsive, professional, and well-coordinated support services.
- Drive service efficiency, quality improvement, and effective resource utilization.
- Ensure all services meet relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational leadership and management of support services within a health, aged care, hospitality, or similar service environment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of infection prevention and control principles.
- Knowledge of relevant legislative, regulatory, and accreditation requirements applicable to private hospital operations (e.g. WHS, food safety, environmental health, and healthcare accreditation standards).
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient/customer experiences and service excellence.
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
- Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
