About the Role

This high-impact, generalist strategy role sits within Strategy & Platforms, reporting to the GM-Strategy & Platforms. It combines business intelligence with structured strategic thinking to inform Group-wide decision-making by generating actionable insights across the competitive landscape, ticketing operations, live entertainment venues, and broader market trends. The role directly feeds into Group Strategy, the strategies of Ticketek's Ticketing and Live entertainment business units, and key partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the GM – Strategy & Platforms and Senior Leadership Team to develop and refine TEG's Group strategy and business unit strategies, translating priorities into frameworks, business cases and implementation roadmaps.
  • Build deep understanding of key competitors, analyse competitor ticketing platforms, and monitor trends in the live music venue sector to inform partnership and investment decisions.
  • Design and build clear, compelling, board-ready presentations and papers that translate complex analysis into a sharp, structured narrative for the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Board.
  • Work closely with Ticketing, TEG Live, Sport, Commercial Partnerships, Customer & Data Solutions and other areas to ensure strategic recommendations are grounded in operational reality and can be practically implemented.
  • Synthesise data from streaming platforms, social media and internal sales data to identify emerging artist and genre trends, sharing insights through regular newsletters and briefings.
  • Lead or support ad hoc strategic projects and initiatives as directed by the GM – Strategy & Platforms and CEO, which may include travel as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in management consulting, corporate strategy or business intelligence – time in a top-tier or boutique consulting firm strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding, non-negotiable ability to build polished, executive-ready Google Slides presentations that land well the first time.
  • Strong analytical capability, translating data and research into clear strategic implications at pace.
  • Excellent storytelling skills, bringing stakeholders on the journey and landing insights confidently with senior leaders.
