About the Role

As a (Senior) Consultant Modern Data Management, you will transform data into a strategic enterprise product on modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), focusing on scalable data products, robust governance, and AI-ready structures. You will begin with our Modern Data Management Masterclass, a structured program covering technological and methodological foundations in key technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, Collibra, Informatica, etc.), followed by specialized sessions on data products, data governance, data quality, and AI readiness. The program culminates in a case study where you will integrate these components into a scalable, AI-ready data management solution, preparing you for client projects.

Responsibilities

Align clients' data management strategy with business objectives.
Develop concepts and build scalable data product organizations with ownership models, metadata management, data mesh structures, and data contracts on platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
Create semantic foundations for Agentic AI using ontologies, knowledge graphs, and cross-domain metadata linking.
Ensure AI applications scale and gain trust through clean structures, complete lineage, and robust documentation.
Develop innovative AI solutions to enhance data management efficiency.
Implement data quality as an operational discipline, from federated governance frameworks and business glossaries to data classification, profiling, rule definition, and monitoring.
Act as a liaison between business requirements and technical implementation, combining technological expertise with business understanding.
Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams, integrating subject matter expertise and consulting experience for strategic data initiatives with international clients.

Requirements

Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, (Business) Engineering, Economics, or comparable fields.
1 to 3 years of professional experience in management consulting, ideally with a focus on AI & Data, IT, or digital transformation.
Understanding of how consulting projects function.
Willingness to travel.
Proficiency in German (C1) and English, both written and spoken.
