About the Role

Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated New Equipment Senior Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple new equipment installation projects. The New Equipment Project Manager will ensure efficiency, cost containment, and customer satisfaction on multiple new construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure flawless execution of each project by completing on schedule, within budget, and meeting all technical & safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Deliver first-in-class customer service and adhere to Otis’ Absolutes.
  • Coordinate all contract activities from project award to customer handover and financial close.
  • Work closely with the Otis sales and field operations team to ensure elevator and escalator installation aligns with contract documents and project scope.
  • Provide regular project progress updates to branch, regional, and Sr. leadership.
  • Proactively communicate with general contractors, owners, building managers, architects, designers, and State/Local authorities regarding project design, preparations, and installation scheduling.
  • Work closely with internal sales staff, construction superintendents, and senior leadership to ensure successful project outcomes from financial and customer perspectives.
  • Perform construction process duties including managing billing, owner/contractor payments, vendor load up and receivables, processing RFIs, optimizing change order opportunities, and maximizing project cash coverage.
  • Accurately interpret construction contractual documents and modifications to determine costs of changes.
  • Read and review architectural and structural drawings.
  • Accurately analyze situations and assist in developing contingencies for estimates.

Requirements

  • 3+ years related elevator project management and/or construction experience.
  • Experience in elevator/escalator industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for developing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments.
  • Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.

Salary/Compensations

  • $93,000 - $139,000
