About the Role
The candidate will conduct course administration, lead course coordination, and support training development and improvement functions for military rural and urban movement, close-quarter battle, roping, and military explosives training. This role involves supporting training preparation, administration, and full-spectrum course management within Training Wing, covering the entire lifecycle from planning through review.
Responsibilities
- Manage courses conducted by Training Wing ADFSSO.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to course delivery, administration, and governance.
- Generate required documentation, information, and other outputs in the specified format and standard.
- Provide support services to meet emergent deadlines.
- Conduct Learning Management Package and Course Session requests.
- Conduct Course Session Management, PMKeyS data entry, and qualification audits.
- Conduct trainee tracking and administration.
- Schedule and deconflict courses.
- Coordinate the conduct of planning conferences.
- Generate and maintain Daily Training Programmes.
- Coordinate Logistical and Support requests and demands.
- Conduct ADFSSO training facility preparation and administration.
- Conduct Facility and training area bookings.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of instructional content relating to Special Forces.
- Demonstrated experience in the planning and/or delivery of training courses or curriculums.
- Ability to be on location at Holsworthy Barracks during working hours of 0900 – 1700h.
- Hold an active AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1 at a minimum, NV2 preferred).
- No impediments to gain access to the Defence Protected Network and Defence Secret Network.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity and experience with the ADF.
- Proven experience working as a high-level Project Support in Defence.
