About the Role

BGIS is seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to support the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services across a growing government portfolio that provides essential community services throughout New South Wales. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will work collaboratively with both client and BGIS teams to coordinate maintenance activities, manage service delivery requirements, and support compliance across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, relationship-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will enjoy building positive stakeholder relationships, coordinating competing priorities, and supporting high-quality service outcomes across a diverse property portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for facilities-related enquiries and service requests.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities through the CMMS and ensure work orders are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Support the Operations Manager with contract administration, compliance activities, procurement, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor contractor performance and assist with ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance information across the portfolio.
  • Support monthly reporting, service delivery reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Potential to travel across NSW to support operational requirements and stakeholder engagement if required.

Requirements

  • Experience within facilities management, property operations, workplace services, or a similar environment.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating maintenance activities and service delivery.
  • Proficiency in CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Understanding of WHS, quality, compliance, and environmental requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Qualifications in Facilities Management, Property, Building Services, or a related discipline (Desirable).
  • Experience supporting government, healthcare, disability, or community service environments (Desirable).
  • Experience with contractor engagement and procurement processes (Desirable).
  • Full working rights in Australia.
