About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Product Development Manager, Retirement to join a collaborative and high-performing team. In this role, you'll support the development and enhancement of retirement products, helping deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs while navigating a dynamic regulatory environment.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end product development across retail and institutional retirement products
- Prepare product specifications, business cases, and governance committee papers
- Manage product initiatives through governance and approval forums
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Actuarial, Pricing, Legal, Risk, Distribution, Marketing, IT, and Operations
- Provide product expertise to support delivery teams, adviser communications, and customer-facing materials
Requirements
- Commercially minded, highly organised, and enjoy working with a broad range of stakeholders to deliver successful product outcomes.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can confidently balance governance requirements with business objectives.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Actuarial Studies, Economics, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years' experience in product management or product development
- Experience within superannuation, retirement income, life insurance, wealth management, or a related financial services environment
- Knowledge of the Australian retirement and regulatory landscape
- Experience preparing business cases, committee papers, and governance documentation
- Strong stakeholder management, written communication, and project coordination skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
