About the Role

Receives, maintains, sorts, inspects, stores, and distributes a wide variety of materials to multiple departments, suppliers, vendors, and customers in a timely and accurate fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a clean and safe work area.
  • Reads and interprets stage plans, picklists, SOPs, and WI's.
  • Accurately records information on travelers and operates computerized equipment.
  • Operates material handling equipment including RF devices, label machines, weight scales, forklifts, pickers, and pallet jacks.
  • Utilizes RF devices to pick, debox, label, and issue material to work orders.
  • Conducts quality inspections for correct part and lot numbers.
  • Ensures accurate transfers, transactions, and labeling.
  • Ensures accuracy of documentation on Sterile Load forms.
  • Performs receiving duties, including unloading/loading trailers and entering data into the MRP system.
  • Participates in cycle counts and bay audits for inventory management.
  • Performs data entry transactions using SAP for workflow processes.
  • Performs duties such as cleaning, processing returns, QA transfers, scrapping material, and mixing polymers.
  • Ensures accurate data entry for work order closeouts.
  • Visually inspects product and releases to inventory.
  • Ensures accurate label accountability.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment and operates material handling equipment safely.
  • Must be certified on power equipment.
  • Must practice safe lifting techniques.
  • Manages to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Builds quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to actively communicate with Production Coordinator and/or Production Supervisor.
  • Must be proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to define and analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision or direction.
  • Ability to seek guidance from a superior when necessary.
  • Ability to read, write, and compute basic math.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Must notify manager/supervisor immediately for all on-the-job injuries or accidents.
  • Exposure to Manufacturing Clean Room environment.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35lbs.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to regularly stand and walk to perform production tasks.
  • Required to perform repetitive movement while demonstrating proficient hand and eye coordination, hand dexterity, and good vision.
  • Continual attention to the accuracy of documentation.
